ETL to be closed over Christmas

“April and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very happy holiday season,” said Jennifer Miedema, co-ordinator of the Emo Toy Library and Resource Centre.
A reminder the ETL will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 21-Jan. 5. The centre will re-open Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m.
“If anyone has any questions, or if you need to contact either April Simmons or myself during this time, please leave a message for us on the ETL answering machine and we will get back to you,” noted Miedema.
The ETL will be checking for messages even while the centre is closed.
In the meantime, don’t forget the ETL will hold its Christmas party open house Friday, Dec. 19. Lunch will be of the potluck variety.
In other news, a workshop on nutrition, facilitated by registered dietician Tricia Wood and sponsored by the Métis Nation of Ontario, is slated for Wednesday, Dec. 17 at the ETL.
Refreshments will be provided.
Looking ahead to 2004, Kids’ Craft will be held Tuesdays, the Infant Hour and Child Care is slated for Wednesday, and the Thursday Playgroup goes from 10-11:30 a.m.
Child care is available Thursdays from noon-2 p.m., with Story Hour running from 2-3 p.m. Friday’s Playgroup is scheduled for 10-11:30 a.m.
