Happy holidays from the ETL co-ordinators, Jennifer Miedema and April Simmons, and staff there.
A reminder the centre will be closed for the holidays Dec. 21-Jan. 5, re-opening Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m. If you wish to contact the co-ordinators during this period, leave a message on the ETL answering machine.
The centre will hold its Christmas party this Friday (Dec. 19) from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. There will be games and songs, with a potluck lunch to be served at noon (bring something for lunch to share with everyone).
Beverages will be provided.
And if everything goes well, Santa might even drop by the ETL that day so be sure to have your letters ready just in case!
In other news, Ed Carlson recently visited the ETL and held an infant CPR course.
A homemade baby food and infant toddler nutrition workshop was facilitated by Tricia Wood, a registered dietitian. That was sponsored by the Métis Nation of Ontario Health Services.
