Emo residents musn’t water their lawns

A notice to residents that there has been a ban on any watering of lawns until further notice. This has been in place for a couple of weeks, but unfortunately not everyone was informed.
The town is allowing residents to water flower bed and gardens on their respective days, but they do ask that this is be done as needed to prevent further problems.

The Rainy River Valley Agricultural Fair is fast approaching, and everyone is invited to stop at the Emo municipal office and pick up a fair book. The book is good for two years and will give you lots of ideas for entering into the exhibition hall.
Anyone can be an exhibitor, by entering their crafts, garden produce, flowers, photos, scrapbooking, chickens, goats, rabbits, and baked goods.
A membership will be required to enter, but it is a small fee of $10. This is a great way to show off your talent and get your kids involved. For more information on this please contact Jan Judson at 482-2428.
