Emo Legion to hold awards night

The Royal Canadian Legion Br. #99 in Emo is hosting its annual awards night, roast beef supper, and dance this Friday (Sept. 20).
The dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., with the awards to follow. The dance will feature music provided by Tumbleweed.

An “Adapt-a-River” cleanup is set for next Tuesday (Sept. 24). All volunteers would be appreciated, with people to meet at the La Vallee municipal office at 9 a.m.
The La Vallee portion of the Rainy River will be cleaned up.
Some Crossroads students also will be helping out with this worthwhile project.

Crossroads annual open house is slated for this Friday (Sept. 20) beginning at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome!
Crossroads also is hosting the district cross-country run Oct. 20 for students in Grades 4-8.
