The Township of Emo has undertaken to clean up the waterfront along Front Street from Don Meyers’ residence to the Golden Age Manor.
This would connect up Lions Park with the westend boat launch area, and it would include a walkway.
This is a start for Emo’s beautification and progress in keeping up with the times.
Talking with Reeve Russ Fortier last Thursday morning, he said there was nothing new on progess of the proposed sportsfield earmarked for north of Emo Cemetery.
There is no sign to indicate the location but you will find pegs outlining the different locations for various sports areas.
