An elderly Sioux Lookout man missing since Wednesday was located safe and sound near Falcon Lake, Man.
The OPP is crediting an alert Ignace resident, who called police after he noticed Michael Marcyniuk’s car broken down on the side of the highway.
The Ignace resident had heard the story on a local radio station as he travelled into Manitoba and recognized Marcyniuk’s car.
Arrangements were being made to reunite the 89-year-old with his family in Sioux Lookout.
