DYS students deliver goodies

Almost 130 people received plates of goodies earlier this month from the families and staff of Donald Young School in Emo.
The number of plates delivered topped last year’s total by almost 20.
Parent volunteers brought in the holiday baking while Katherine Williams, Sherrie Hay, Tammy Kinnear, and Carolyn Stang were busy getting plates organized and ready for delivery.
Each plate also contained a holiday card and was topped with a bow to be ready for delivery.
Students delivering the trays were Jessica and Julie Roen and Tasha and Marissa Kinnear, with the help of Shannon Carlson, Tracy Roen, and Tammy Kinnear.
This is a great way for DYS to show how much they appreciate the community’s support—and hope everyone who received a plate enjoyed the holiday baking.
