DRRSB recognized during Non-Profit Sector Appreciation Week

Fort Frances, Ontario – The District of Rainy River Services Board (DRRSB) is honoured to accept recognition from Town of Fort Frances Mayor, Andrew Hallikas, as part of Non-Profit Sector Appreciation Week.

Mayor Hallikas made the presentation to Chair Debbie Ewald and CAO Dan McCormick during the DRRSB regular board meeting on February 15, 2024. He thanked the board members and staff for their dedication and contributions to serving the local communities.

The DRRSB delivers Early Learning and Child Care, Ontario Works, Community Housing and Homelessness Services, and Paramedic Services across the Rainy River District.

The annual week of appreciation, which is held the third week of February, was created by the Government of Ontario to recognize the importance of the Non-Profit Sector in the province.

The DRRSB is pleased to be among the organizations recognized during this special week.
