A Bowmanville, Ont. man was killed in a two-vehicle accident late yesterday afternoon on Highway 11 about five km west of Geraldton, Greenstone OPP reported.
James O’Brien, 60, was pronounced dead at the scene after the pickup truck he was driving collided with a commercial vehicle near Goldfield Road around 5:20 p.m.
Another male sustained non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the commercial vehicle, a 50-year-old male from Etobicoke, Ont., was charged with driving with no licence and having an expired insurance card, police added.
The investigation is continuing.
