Set to begin at 10 a.m., the race will start and finish at Lions Park.
It will feature music, prizes, and, of course, doughnuts!
An awards ceremony will take place following the race, with prizes for the top three male and female finishers.
There also will be draw prizes for all participants.
The event is the culmination of Emo’s “Rainy River Running Walk/Run” program that began earlier this fall.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Emo municipal office or by e-mailing emodonutrun@gmail.com
The entry fee is $5 without a T-shirt or $10 with a T-shirt (these will be available with registration on race day in limited sizes).
Registration is open to the public, so practice up and plan on attending.

Seniors’ carpet bowling is back up and running Thursdays at the Emo Legion.
The Legion also could use some volunteers who would love to get on a rotation, or help on occasion with cooking and serving the meal.
A reminder that Friday is “Beer and Burger Night” in the clubroom starting at 5 p.m.
Again, the Legion could use some volunteers who would like to help out in the kitchen cooking the burgers, running the deep fryer, or serving the orders.
They would like to have three workers each Friday night.
