Leonis Gillies, a resident of Golden Age Manor in Emo, recently celebrated her 90th birthday with a party in the Common Room attended by friends, relatives, and neighbours.
Wearing a beautiful white rose on her lapel, Leonis mixed with the guests during the afternoon and also looked at photographs of family members.
Her daughter, Jane Allen, and family members distributed pieces of the decorated one-layer cake to visitors who dropped by to wish Leonis a happy birthday and many more in the future.
The guest book attendants were Kathy and Ashley Woolsey.
“This is lovely and I thank everyone for coming, and I’ll see you tomorrow,” a smiling and alert Leonis said to her guests.
