Kelvin Caul and Ted Heyens, being right here from Devlin, captured the eighth-annual Emo Walleye Classic crown on Saturday after beating out 61 other teams.
Congratulations to both of them, and to all the anglers who dealt with the high winds and rain over the two-day event.
Hats off, as well, to all the organizers, volunteers, and everyone else who makes the EWC one of the best fishing tournaments in our district.

Robin’s 2¢:
Why are husbands like lawn mowers?
They’re hard to get started, emit foul odours, and don’t work half the time.
