The dates have been set for the performances of this year’s Christmas choraliers.
Choir director Diane Maxey announced last week that the choir, which traditionally has sung a Christmas cantata, would instead be performing a collection of Christmas anthems this year.
Now, Maxey has nailed down when each of the performances will take place.
The first performance of the Fort Frances Choraliers will be at Rainycrest on Sunday, Dec. 1, and is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.
Maxey said the Rainycrest show is traditionally their catch-all day.
“The public is invited to that one,” she said.
“Especially if you can’t get out to any of the other performances.”
The next performance will be at the Zion Lutheran Church in International Falls on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m., with the final performance being held at the Townshend Theatre the following Sunday, Dec. 15.
There will be a fundraising bake sale before and after the Townshend show.
Maxey stressed it’s not too late for anyone who is interested to join the choraliers for this year’s Christmas shows, but they need to let her know before the end of the week.
The books and music can now be picked up, and the first practice for the Christmas choraliers will be Monday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at the New Beginnings Fellowship in Fort Frances.
