From the OPP
On May 18, the OPP received video footage of a near head-on collision on Highway 17 in Coyle Township.
The driver of the pickup truck captured the video on its dash camera.
The tractor-trailer unit was westbound at the time and crossed over the centre line into the eastbound lane.
The eastbound driver swerved to avoid the collision.
Upon further investigation, police charged a 52-year-old Brampton, Ont. man with careless driving.
He is to appear in court June 22.
