Dance Supper coming up Sunday

Robin McCormick

There will be a pig roast supper this Sunday evening (Sept. 12) at the Dance Hall.
A delicious meal of pork, potatoes, vegetables, salads & decadent desserts will make up the menu. The cost is $12 for adults, children $6, kids 5 + under eat free.
These are always fun evenings of great food and visiting friends from near and far.
Hats off to the volunteers & organizers that work diligently to keep the Dance Hall maintained and enjoyed by many.

Friends of the Arena will be selling their Community Birthday and Anniversary Calendars again this year.
This makes a nice gift for those “difficult to buy for people.”
Those people that have a calendar from last year note that there is a reorder page on the back of their calendar to make any changes you may wish to.
Calendars are $10 and can be ordered and paid for at the La Vallee and Emo municipal offices.

Robin’s 2¢
A husband took his wife to a restaurant.
The waiter asked the husband first what he wished to order.
He replied, “I’ll have the rump roast please”
The waiter said, “Aren’t you worried about mad cow?”
He said, “Nah, she can order herself”
And that’s how the fight started.
