Crossroads holding Terry Fox Run tomorrow

Once again, the students and staff of Crossroads School in Devlin will be ditching the books and donning their sneakers for the annual Terry Fox Run.
Although most groups and organizations around the world will hold the annual fundraiser this Sunday (Sept. 19), Crossroads will be out on the road tomorrow (Thursday) between 1-3 p.m.
Crossroads secretary Kathy Pruys said the school has been one of the biggest fundraisers in the district since it began the tradition in 2000. That year, it raised $2,935.25 for cancer research.
Last year, $2,485 was brought in.
The theme for Crossroads this year is “How far will you go?” and Pruys said the school has set its sights higher this time.
“We have a goal to reach $3,000 this year—to do better than we’ve ever done before,” she remarked.
