COVID-19 business reopening list

With restrictions easing by the Ontario Government, numerous businesses are now reopening with social distancing measures in place. We have complied a list of businesses that are currently starting to open to the public, and will continue to update this list in the days to come as more information is provided to us.

• CC Complex : reduced hours 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Chapple Municipal office : closed to general public, payments accepted by electronic means, phone, mail and through drop slot

• CIBC : reduced hours 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

• CMHA Fort Frances Branch : closed to public, but staff available for clients over the phone

• Cousineau Real Estate : closed to the public, available by phone

• Curtis Denture Clinic : open Mon-Fri

• Curvy Chick : Mon-Fri 10 am – 5pm limit 5 customers, please wear a mask. Shop online curvychickff.com, in-store pick up available and local delivery Fridays 5-6pm

• Dairy Queen : drive-through, take-out and eat-in.

• Domino’s : online/phone orders only, contactless pickup and delivery

• Ed Kaun & Sons : remains open, but call ahead to order. We will meet you outside for pick-up or we can deliver to your door.

• Emo Dental Centre : closed except for emergencies 274-9001

• Emo Drugs : call pharmacy to inquire about store hours or delivery. Online refill service is available.

• Emo Food Bank : open with restrictions.

• Emo Museum : open 10-4pm

• Firefly : all offices are closed, virtual services offered

• Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre : open to the public Tuesdays, 3 – 7 pm, and Wednesdays from 11 am to 3 pm. Curbside pick-up will continue, and is available Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am to 2 pm and Wednesdays from 4-7 pm.

• Green’s Brandsource : regular hours Monday to Friday, 9-5:30, Saturday 9-3

• H202GO : store hours 1-4pm, home deliveries available.

• The Harbourage : patio seating and inside dining with social distancing measures.

• Rainy River Future Development Corp : open, masks and sanitization required.

• Rainy River Garbage Collection and Landfill site : landfill closed, curb-side garbage collection continuing as scheduled

• Rainy River Municipal Office : closed to the public. Payments can be made via online banking options, mail or mail slot at the office. Property tax payment deadline extended to April 30, 2020. Available by phone during regular hours

• Rainy River Public Library : Library building open for service on reduced hours: Tuesdays, 2pm-7pm; Thursdays, 11am-4pm; Saturdays, 11am-4pm. Limit five patrons at one time. Public computers not available but WiFi on 24/7.

• Rainy River Public Works : essential work only. Facility closed to the public.

• Rainy River Recovery and Northland Counseling operating as normal

• Walmart : Open 8 am – 10 pm Monday – Saturday and 8 am – 8 pm Sunday.
