Concert fundraiser coming up Friday

The Emo and District Hospital Auxiliary is co-hosting the “Pop Your Winter Blues” concert coming up this Friday (Jan. 27) at 7 p.m. at the Emo Legion.
There also will be a silent auction, featuring such items as musical instruments, wooden deck furniture, Valentine’s packages, children’s toys—in general, a lot of really great items for everyone.
But the evening’s main attraction will be the Borderland Community Orchestra, which will be performing a variety of pieces.
Tickets cost $8 for adults, $5 for children under 14, and $20 for families (this includes refreshments).
They are available at Cloverleaf Shop Easy and the Emo Public Library, as well as from members of the hospital auxiliary, Friends of the Library, and members of the orchestra.
Unsold tickets will be available at the door.
This is a great, affordable way for everyone to experience the orchestra—and to help support the Emo and District Hospital Auxiliary as well as the Emo Public Library in Emo.
All proceeds from this event will go to these two groups.
