The Dordt College Concert Choir from Sioux Center, Iowa will perform at the Christian Reformed Church in Emo tomorrow (Jan. 11) at 7:30 p.m.
The church is located on Emo Rd. #1.
This free concert is one of eight performances on a concert tour that will take the group to North and South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, as well as Manitoba and Ontario.
Dordt College’s 53-voice choir is under the direction of Dr. Benjamin Kornelis.
The program for the evening includes a wide range of music, including classical repertoire by Parsons, Mozart, Rheinberger, and Bairstow; contemporary music from Norway, Australia, and Italy; and folk music from Canada and Kenya.
Admission to the concert is free, with a free-will donation being accepted to help defray tour expenses.
