Coffee Break/Story Hour/Little Lambs is in full swing again at the Christian Reformed Church in Emo.
About 45 ladies turned out for the social kick-off on Wednesday, Sept. 4. This is to be followed each Wednesday with different activities by the leaders, including Bible study.
The group meets at 9:30 a.m. for coffee, with Bible study running from 10-11:15 a.m. At the same time, the Little Lambs holds its own program.
Francine Krikke is welcomed aboard to lead the Little Lambs while Elaine Mack will help lead the ladies in Bible study. Karen Koomans came through as Coffee Break leader.
If there are others considering to be a part of this ministry, contact either Michelle Marinaro or Betty Esselink. Everyone is welcome to attend this informal, interdenominational Bible study for women of all ages.
It’s a time to gather in the comfort and safety of a small group, meet new people, and take a look at what the Bible is all about.
You can expect to meet new friends, share a cup of coffee, laugh, cry, and discover new insights from the Bible. The setting is casual, and no one will call on you. You can participate as you feel comfortable.
Previous Bible knowledge is not expected.
If you require more info or need a ride, call Marinaro (482-2649) or Esselink (486-3735).
In related news at the Christian Reformed Church, the GEMS girls’ club had their kick-off Tuesday at the church for another season of activities.
Leaders have a full schedule of events arranged. It’s a fun time, including crafts, Bible stories, etc.
