Clothing items sought

It’s that time of year once again.
The United Native Friendship Centre’s CAP-C program will be holding its “Spring Clothing Give Away.”
It will take place Friday, April 29 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and again Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Circle of Life Centre (616 Mowat Ave.)
“We are in need of gently-loved clothing donations of all sizes and donations are being accepted now,” noted CAP-C worker Shelly Mallet.
She noted clothing can be dropped off at the Circle of Life building (use the side entrance across from the credit union).
Donations will be accepted until 4 p.m. on April 26.
“We also will be accepting non-perishable food donations for the UNFC food bank,” added Mallet, noting those who donate an item will be entered into a draw for a prize.
She stressed the clothing giveaway is open to everyone in the community, as well as surrounding areas.
Left-over clothing will be donated to the Rainycrest ladies’ auxiliary.
