Chamber certificates are versatile Christmas gifts

Have no idea what to get someone for Christmas this year? Or have no idea even what store they would shop at if they could buy their own gift?
Then the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce has a solution for you as once again it is offering gift certificates redeemable at more than 40 area businesses.
“Every year we get lots of people in here at the last minute who haven’t figured out what to get for someone,” noted Chamber office manager Dawn Booth.
Even though the Chamber sells the gift certificates year-round, they’re only promoted—and thus tend to sell—during the holiday season.
“We find a lot of businesses buy them for their employees as a Christmas bonus,” she added.
The 40 participating businesses offer a range of goods and services, from doughnuts, plumbing, lodging, and electronics to furniture, knick-knacks, fishing gear, and Internet service.
“We have a great variety of participating businesses to choose from,” said Booth, adding these gift certificates are available in any dollar amount.
Booth noted businesses not currently part of the program are more than welcome to get involved. There is no charge, but they must be a Chamber member.
And the Chamber gift certificate program is open to businesses that already offer their own gift certificates, she stressed.
