Centennial committee still looking for talent

Can you sing, juggle, tell stories, dance, swallow swords or make things disappear? Do you have a talking horse or a dog that can do calculus?
If so, there will be a golden opportunity to strut your stuff at the Stratton Centennial celebrations on the August long weekend.
On Saturday, August 2, there will be entertainment under the big top and there are still some time slots available, so dust off those tap shoes and give Rover a flea bath, because the entertainment committee wants you.
So far, the playbill has Highway 621, featuring Jerry Fisk and Leonard Larson, as well as the Minard Whalen Band.
Also on tap are singer Jodie Allan, featuring Roy Jolicoeur, but according to entertainment co-ordinator Betty Selchert, if you want to play, this is your shot.
There is no entry fee and admission is free to the public at large, so if you wish to participate, contact Selchert at (807) 486-3536 or Gladys Jolicoeur at (807) 483-5478.
The fun begins at 1 p.m. and runs until at 4.
