Centennial choir looking for new members

After a one-year hiatus, the Emo Centennial Choir once again is in business and looking for new voices.
Starting in September, 1998, the choir has entertained the district at various seasonal concerts until closing down a year ago. Now it’s back and director Renée Martin-Brown is looking for new talent for its first concert on Easter Monday (April 12).
“We’re looking for all kinds of voices,” said Martin-Brown. “Especially male voices. You don’t have to be great, just have a desire to sing.”
Beginning Jan. 26, the choir will meet every Monday from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Christian Reformed Church in Emo. Registration will take place this coming Monday at 6:30 p.m., followed by the first rehearsal.
