Celebrity car-washers lining up

Two former Fort Frances Mayors lead the lineup as the “Library Celebrity Car Wash” takes shape here.
Dick Lyons and Glenn Witherspoon will be active in the event starting 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 26 in the parking lot at Canadian Tire.
The event, which will feature more than two dozen celebrities, is being organized as a fundraiser for the new library, as well as providing a fun occasion for local residents.
The celebrity lineup so far includes Wayne Woods, CEO of Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc., Jim Cumming, publisher, and Mike Behan, editor, of the Fort Frances Times, Christine Denby, president of the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce, and the B-93 morning team of Jenni Condon and Mike Alan.
Confirmation has not yet been received from local MPP Howard Hampton or local MP Ken Boshcoff.
