Carpet bowling all set to resume

Carpet bowling will be starting up next Thursday (Sept. 9) at the Emo Legion.
Bowling will run from 10-11:45 a.m., at a cost of $1, followed by a luncheon from noon-12:30 p.m. at a cost of $6.
Newcomers are welcome.
Come out for a little exercise, a great meal, and a fantastic time of socializing with friends from across the district.

The Township of Emo will be flushing fire hydrants starting next Tuesday (Sept. 7) for roughly three weeks.
If your water is discoloured, flush your toilet until the water runs clean.
Be careful, as well, about doing any laundry until you have checked the condition of your water.

The next “Country Jam” will take place Friday, Sept. 17 at the Emo Legion.
After a successful jam held in conjunction with this year’s Emo Fair, the musicians are looking forward to getting back to their regular venue at the Legion.
