Call out for more iPods

Press Release

The local Alzheimer Society’s “Music Project” is all about bringing joy into the lives of people living with Alzheimer disease or other forms of dementia.
The approach is simple. The project reconnects people with the “sound track of their life” using iPods.
The program is available at no cost to approved families.
The “Music Project” has grown rapidly since it started being offered in the Kenora/Rainy River Districts.
It started off with two clients in Kenora but we now have more than 50 clients throughout the district–and growing.
As such, we are looking for donations of gently-used iPods to continue serving our client base.
Please help us spread the word as any donation counts.
We also accept monetary donations, donation of headphones, and iTunes gift cards.
