The Northwestern Health Unit and Township of Rainy River declared Friday afternoon that Rainy River residents follow a boil-water advisory after determining the safety of the drinking water could not be guaranteed there.
The boil-water advisory is due to inadequate treatment, the health unit noted
Until the safety of the water supply can be assured, all water should be boiled for at least one minute if it’s to be used for human consumption.
The boil-water advisory will remain in effect until such time as the health unit rescinds it.
