Body recovered at Northwest Angle

The body of a man reported missing in November was located yesterday by Kenora OPP.
Robert Storey, a Northwest Angle First Nation resident, was discovered by the police, with the assistance of a helicopter, in Lake of the Woods.
They were conducting a follow-up search of the water where his boat was found, and he was believed to have been last operating it before he went missing.
Storey was reported missing after he failed to return from a hunting trip in the Northwest Angle area in November. An extensive search was conducted then but then halted after a freeze-up.
In related news, Kenora OPP, also with the help of a helicopter, are searching the Shoal Lake area for a missing man.
Jerry Holstrom of Kenora went missing after a boating accident last fall.
An extensive search at that time by family members, friends, the OPP dive team, K-9 unit, and marine unit failed to locate Holstrom.
