The Rainy River “Best Start” Hub hosted its annual “bike rodeo” in partnership with the Northwestern Health Unit, OPP, and Canadian Tire in Fort Frances.
Children of all ages were invited to bring their bicycles (and helmets) to learn about bike safety, which was presented by OPP officer Guy Beaudry.
Then they participated in fun obstacle courses, which earned them a chance to win a free bike and helmet.
The event was completed by the “Best Start” Hub providing ice cream to everyone on hand.
“Thank you to all the parents, grandparents, and children for coming out to our annual ‘bike rodeo,'” said a Hub staff member.
