The Bear Clan Patrol Fort Frances has headed to the Dryden area, to assist in a wide-spread search for a missing man.
Darren Burnard has not made contact with loved ones since December 31, 2021.
Burnard is described as 32-year-old indigenous male approximately 177 cm or 5 foot 9 inches and weighing 73 kilos, or 160 pounds.

To follow Bear Clan Patrol Fort Frances’ progress, follow them on Facebook. They are welcoming searchers and donations to aid those on the ground. Funds will be used for food, supplies and warm gear for search party members. To send a donation by electronic transfer, use the e-mail bearclanpatrol@hotmail.com. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Paawidigong building, 105 King St East in Dryden.
A Facebook page called Search for Darren Burnard has also been set up by friends and family of the missing man.
