Band to hold fish fry Friday

Rainy River First Nations once again will be kicking off the long weekend with its 33rd-annual Manitou Fish Fry this Friday and the public is invited to participate in fun, food, and, of course, fish.
The feast will be held at the Kay-Nah-Chi-Wah-Nung Historical Centre (Manitou Mounds).
To get there, drive west along Highway 11 through Barwick, turn south on Shaw Road for three km, and then turn east to the centre.
It opens at 10 a.m., with the fish fry slated to start at 4 p.m.
Those attending are reminded to bring along warm clothing just in case.
