Arrest made in Break and Enter

(FORT FRANCES) Shortly before 8:00 a.m. on Saturday April 4, members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were advised of a break and enter that had taken place at a business on Scott Street in Fort Frances.
Officers attended the scene and conducted an investigation. With the assistance of the Northwest Region Emergency Response Team (NWR ERT) as well as a canine officer a suspect was identified.
As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old Fort Frances man has been charged criminally with one count of Break and Enter and one count of Theft.
The accused will appear in Fort Frances Provincial Court on June 8, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. to answer to the charges.
