Highway 17A, between the east junction with Highway 17 and Highway 658 (Redditt Road), was closed this morning due to a fatal accident.
Shortly after 8 a.m., Kenora OPP officers responded to the scene of a single motor vehicle collision in the area of the Jones Road.
A vehicle went into the westbound ditch and caught fire, police said.
It is unknown at this time how many people were in the vehicle, police added.
Police will advise the public when the highway will be re-opened.
