The Devlin 4-H Beef Club held its first meeting of the year back on Feb. 15 at the municipal office in Devlin.
We began the meeting by reciting the 4-H pledge, then held introductions of members and discussed our steers and heifers.
The group then held a vote for executive positions, with Justin Bujold receiving the most votes for president of both the steer and heifer clubs, and Nathan Bujold for vice-president of both clubs.
The secretary for the steer club is Andrew Morrish while the secretary for the heifer club is still undetermined. The adult leaders are Laura Zimmerman, and Kathy Stahn.
During the meeting, we discussed last year’s events and different ways that we can improve for this year.
To end our gathering, Justin adjourned the meeting and we all enjoyed refreshments.
The next meeting will be held this Sunday (April 6) at 2 p.m. at the Bujold farm.
