Today is the final day for nominations for the upcoming Sunset Country Métis election, with the deadline being 5 p.m.
Nomination forms are available at sunsetcountrymetis.com
The election is being held to fill the positions of president, secretary/treasurer, senator, three councillors, chair, youth representative, and women’s representative.
The announcement of the official candidates will be at 5 p.m. this Friday.
The election will take place Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Sunset Country Métis Hall here (714 Armit Ave.)
