Staff and supporters of the Fort Frances branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association and Fort Frances Mayor June Caul held up the CMHA flag for “Mental Health Week” on Monday. CMHA will be holding events and workshops throughout the district this week in support of “Mental Health Week,” including “Hearing Voices that are Distressing” at La Place Rendez-Vous today, and a “Safe Talk” workshop on suicide awareness and prevention on Friday. “Mental Health Week” is recognized across the country and brings awareness to mental health issues.
