The Northwest Catholic District School Board will recognize Our Lady of the Way School staff member Nicole Robinson at its regular monthly meeting tomorrow morning.
Acting vice-principal Colette Fafard noted Robinson served as the school’s librarian, speech assistant, a recess supervisor, and part-time secretary over the past year.
She also is the attendance counsellor for the west end of the board.
“While wearing her many ‘hats,’ Nicole has consistently shown a dedication to the academic and mental well-being of our students,” Fafard said in a report to the board.
“She can always be counted on for ideas how we can improve and promote our school.”
Fafard said that by sending in weekly submissions to our local papers, serving on our Revitalization Committee, and reaching out to community members, Robinson has helped make our school a visible part of our community.
“We are lucky to have such a caring, passionate advocate for our school,” Fafard added.
