Winnipeg-based magician Alex Jay Hamm performed a card trick last night during a fundraising gala for the Rainy River District Women’s Shelter of Hope at La Place Rendez-Vous. The event, which also featured a dinner and prizes, was coupled with a two-day sexual assault awareness training that ran there yesterday and again today.
