‘Buddy’ bowling tourney held here

Brian McCoy and Jason Ellman combined for a 457-pin total to capture top spot in the senior boys’ division of the “Buddy” youth bowling tournament Sunday at Plaza Lanes.
Dino Morelli Jr./Sarah Noonan teamed up for second place (397) while Christopher Trapp/Adam Gray were third (288).
In the senior girls’ division, Allison Amorde/Faith Armstrong placed first with a 418 score.
Tina Hyatt/Jackie Badiuk were next (391), followed by Branda Avis/Kevin Seiders (312), Jolie Armstrong/Ashley Wilson (311), Jamie Anderson/Dan Mihichuk (298), and Dusty Yeo/Heather Mihichuk (290).
The team of Nick Trapp/Keith Noga captured the junior boys’ title with a 371 score.
Ryan Whalen/Clinton Gray teamed up to take second (349), followed by Danny Bone/Jon Bone (341), David Dyer/Kyle Dolph (320), Andrew Stamarski/Jenny Green (310), Michael Allan/Amanda Allan (306), Stephen Gillon/Levi Morris (303), Steven Klem/Curtis Dustin (264), and Brett Shabatura/Andrew George (260).
Meanwhile, Megan Bale/Joanna McQuarrie topped the junior girls’ division with a 317 score.
David Ellis/Josh Desjardins won the Bantam boys’ title with a 272 total, followed by Tyler Harris/Nick Wreggitt (253). Ashley LaFreniere/Sandy Elliot took top honours among the Bantam girls’ with a 242, with Jessica Hazel/Karli McKinnon second (238) and Melonie Rogers/Tiaryn Doupe third (174).
Nathan Caul/Kristina Caul topped the PeeWee boys with a 205 total, followed by Tyler Good/Tristain Mose (192), Josh Stevens/Jordan Davis (182), Robert Ellis/Josh Sigurdson (173), and Darren Vlossoff/Tayler Steel (no score given).
Finally, Jasmine Noble/April McKee teamed up to win the PeeWee girls’ crown with a 187, followed by Lacey Bolduc/Chantal Dubord (178).
