The Fort Frances Attack went 3-0 en route to capturing the title at the Two Harbors 12UB tournament held there over the weekend.
The Attack opened tourney with a 7-3 win over the Eveleth Golden Bears on the strength of four goals by Piper Miller.

The squad then continued their winning ways with a 9-5 victory over Superior.
Guertin netted four markers in that one while Miller scored a hat trick, with Allam and Emma Bodnarchuk adding singles.
That win put the Attack into the final against host Two Harbors.
The championship game was intense and physical and after quickly going down 2-0, the Attack stormed back as Guertin scored three unanswered goals to put them up 3-2.
After Two Harbors knotted it at 3-3, Allam banged in the rebound of Guertin’s shot to put the Attack back up by one.

On the 10UB side of the tournament, the Fort Frances Herricanes dropped their first two games by scores of 4-0 versus Pine City and 3-0 to host Two Harbors.
In their consolation game versus Silver Bay, the Herricanes were able to find their groove and won 4-0 to finish in fifth place.
Davilyn Miller scored twice in that one while Rayna Whitefish and Ayanna Savage notched the other goals.
Ashlee Homer earned the shutout.
The Fort Frances Storm, meanwhile, had more success in Two Harbors.
They dropped their opener by a narrow 3-2 margin to Waconia, with Ainsley Matheson and Shaylynn Whitecrow scoring in a losing cause.
But the Storm rebounded in their second game to win 3-2 over Silver Bay.
Shayna Shute had a strong performance between the pipes to earn the win while Emma Wilson tallied twice and Chloe Allen added a single.
That win put the Storm in the bronze-medal game, where they were edged 1-0 by Pine City to settle for fourth place.
