The “Nite Hawk Band” will play at the Legion on Friday, Dec. 13 from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. A $5 cover charge for non-members. Attendance prizes. It’s also 50/50 draw night.
Photos with Santa will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 1-3 p.m. at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre. Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for $2/family photo. The library also will have cookies, Christmas bingo, and Christmas carols.
The Fort Frances Choraliers will stage a performance of “Christmas Anthems” on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. at the Townshend Theatre. A bake sale will follow to defray costs. Admission is a free-will offering.
The Rainy Lake Community Orchestra will be performing a free concert at the Fort Frances Public Library on Monday, Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
The Times’ office will be closed from Monday, Dec. 23 through Friday, Dec. 27 for the Christmas holidays. We will re-open Monday, Dec. 30.
The annual community Christmas dinner will be held Wednesday, Dec. 25 from noon-2 p.m. at Knox United Church. Admission is free and everyone is welcome!
