Appalled

Dear Mike:
We were appalled at the letter you received from Donna Devenport of Moose Point Lodge.
Surely our Canadian customs officers do not normally treat our American visitors in this manner. There are polite ways of putting a point across, but it would seem that this particular customs person did not use any finesse in this situation.
Camp owners work long and hard, and don’t need such aggravation to start their season off.
