Muskie hockey tryouts will be held for the boys on Sept. 5-8 from 8:15-10:15 p.m. and again Sept. 11-14 from 8:45-10:15 p.m. in the Ice for Kids Arena and for the girls on Sept. 5-7 from 7:15-8:15 p.m. and Sept. 8 from 6:15-7:45 p.m. in the Ice for Kids Arena. The fee is $50 for boys and $30 for girls. Players are asked to show up an hour early on the first night for pre-registration.
“tour de Fort” will hold its annual general meeting Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Toonies (the former Pizza Connection). All passport holders are welcome to attend. A reminder that passports, which cost $95 each for six shows, are on sale now at the Fort Frances Public Library and each Saturday at the Clover Valley Farmers’ Market. Spanish classes will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel (316 Victoria Ave.) every Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. for 10 weeks starting Sept. 7. The instructors will be Capt.
