On April 1. 2022. Yvette passed away with her loving partner Gerry Couturier by her side. Yvette was born in Fort Frances on July 12, 1951. Yvette has now joined her twin sister Yvonne.
Yvette loved to cook, travel and enjoy the outdoors. Yvette was always a joy to be around with her infectious laugh and carefree attitude. Yvette resided in Kenora and Fort Frances. After marrying Marcel Adams they enjoyed travelling and working in several different southern states in the U.S. Eventually they ventured back up to Canada and traveled and lived in various towns in and around the Interior and Costal region of B.C. After the passing of Marcel, Yvette befriended Gerry. Gerry became her companion of seven years, residing in 100 Mile House, B.C. Gerry was an exceptional friend that cared and supported Yvette while she was struggling with and eventually passing from diabetes.
She leaves to mourn her companion Gerry Couturier and son Greg Mitchell; brothers and sisters Jim Gladu and Barb Kowal, Fred and Sonny Gladu, Nancy and Leonard Noonan, Ray and Rondi Gladu, Lorraine and Rod Cupp, Joe Gladu and Heather Hudson and their extended families and close friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Ted and Margaret Gladu; sisters Mae Armstrong, Joan Marchand, Yvonne Gladu; and husband Marcel Adams.
