WILLIAM GEORGE SAUNDERS

William George Saunders passed away peacefully Monday, March 17, 2003 in his 82nd year at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Bill was an announcer at CKFI Radio in 1948 and later Minnesota manager of CFOB Radio. In the 1960s, he was the manager of International TV Cable, until 1968.
Bill is survived by his wife, Audrey (LaDu) of Fort Frances; son, Robin (Dianne) of Ottawa, Ont.; son, Scott (Stephenie) of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Will and Julia of St. Louis, Mo.; and son, Kaye of Vancouver, B.C., from a previous marriage.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation and no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
