It is with great sorrow that the family of William Garth Lockman Jr. announces his passing on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the LaVerendrye General Hospital.
Garth was born on March 26, 1966 in Fort Frances to Garth and Linda Lockman. He lived in Fort Frances all his life. He worked with Hammond’s Greenhouse and then at the Town of Fort Frances for the Parks and Cemetery Board. He enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was younger and loved to watch hockey. He was an excellent cook and made fantastic soups and perogies.
He will be greatly missed by his children Ian, Irvine (Kaili), Allan (Jain) and Nikki; grandchildren Kael, Avery, Clayton, Morgan, Brynn, Ellie and Isaias; mother Linda (Rick); wife Alison; brother Gary (Laura); grandmother Irene Daily; stepmother Joy; stepbrothers Clint (Helen) and Justin (Julie); aunt Doreen (Don). He will also be missed by his friend Jason Vien and his beloved dog Mosby.
Garth was predeceased by his father Garth Sr.; grandparents Herman Mainville and Herb and Ruth Lockman; brother-in-law Bill Bruyere; and his cherished dog Hotdog.
Cremation has taken place and due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family gathering will be held.
