WILLIAM DONALD SUTTON

On Monday, September 7, 2009, our beloved Willy passed away at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ontario.
He was born in Emo, Ontario on January 10, 1942. At the age of 17, Willy enlisted in the Navy serving out of Halifax. He later transferred to the RCHA, then RCEME where he served as a weapons technician. On retiring after 25 years of service, Willy began a second career as maintenance supervisor with Extendicare in Winnipeg retiring in May 2000.
Left to mourn his passing are his beloved wife, Margaret; son, Bill; daughter, Wanda; stepchildren, Ken and Tina (Dean); grandchildren, Sheldon and Cassandra (and their mother Lisa), Garrett, Sarah and Kayla; brother, Art (Linda); sisters, Elaine, Jackie (Raymond), Barbara (Terry), and many loving nieces, nephews and countless good friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Gladys and Laurie; brothers, Gerry, Bobby, and Ron; sisters, Lauris Ann and Jeanne.
We will always remember Willy’s sense of humour and the gift of laughter he shared with all.
At his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
