William “Bill” Wednchuk, 72 of International Falls, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at his home, surrounded by his family. 
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 23 at Evangelical Covenant Church, International Falls, with Pastor Dave Smith officiating. 
Bill was born December 30, 1934 in Fort Frances, Ont., the son of Daniel and Mary Wednchuk.
He worked many jobs over the years including logging, mining, fishing and hunting guide and cook, Mando Paper Mill, construction, and retiring from the Roofers Union in 2000.
He was especially fond and proud of his many years as caretaker of Carson Lupie Skating Rink. 
He loved traveling with wife Marilyn visiting his children all over the U.S and Germany. He was also an avid woodworker, gardener and fisherman. 
He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Mary and sister Eva Balaski. 
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; sister Nettie Amorde of Fort Frances, children Danny (Sue) of Bemidji, Vicki (Jesse) Clark of Tacoma, WA, Dana (Sean) Mayo of Champlin, MN, Natalie (Paul) Ness of Lebanon, MO, Michele (Mike) Hickam, Fairborn, OH, Billie Jo (friend Tracy) of Cour d Lane, ID.  13 grandchildren;  Brooke, Jon, Ben, Brittany, Thomas, Jordan, Cassie, Hannah, Jackson, Emily, Collin, Carter, Hayden and great grandchild Mia Lynn. 
Arrangements are with Cease Family Funeral Home, Blackduck, MN. 
He will be greatly missed and will live in our hearts forever.
