WILLIAM BERNARD JOURDAIN

William Bernard Jourdain, 64, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014.
He was born April 11, 1949 to Moses Jourdain and Regina Adams in Fort Frances.
He lived in Rainy River District all his life and loved to be outdoors. He was a guide for Northern Light Camp, as well as working in the bush for the Person Brothers and other places.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trapping. He especially enjoyed the wild rice season.
He was a family kind of guy.
Bill leaves behind his children, Donovan Jourdain, Dawn Jourdain, and Kerrigan Beaver; and grandchildren, Winston Jourdain, Haven Jourdain, Jasemine Jourdain, and Daylia Friday.
Also surviving are his brothers, Everette Jourdain, Louis Jourdain, Calvin Jourdain, and Melvin Jourdain; sisters, Victoria Top, Wilma Wilson, and Evelyn Adams; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Moses Jourdain and Regina Adams; wife, Angelina Johnson; and sisters, Gladys Jourdain and Marlene Yerxa.
A wake will be held Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 from 5 p.m. at the Couchiching First Nation Multi-Use Facility.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Couchiching First Nation Multi-Use Facility, with Fr. Victor De Gagne officiating.
Interment will take place in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery at Couchiching First Nation.
The pallbearers will be Lonnie Morrisseau, Kevin Singleton, Val Perreault, Kerry Morrisseau, Bottle, and Mike Thompson.
